Different processing methods, as they apply to Aloe Mucilaginous Polysaccharides (AMP), are important for 2 reasons; cost & quality. Generally speaking, freeze drying works by freezing material and then reducing the surrounding pressure and adding enough heat to allow the frozen water in the material to sublime directly from the solid phase to gas.
